Nigerian Stars Shine at 2024 Promise Land Festival
Renowned Afrobeats artists Rema, Asake, and Omah Lay are headlining the 2024 Promise Land Festival, set to take place from the 4th until the 6th of October on Australia’s Gold Coast.
The festival, featuring an impressive line-up of Nigerian music talent, showcases the genre’s global appeal.
Rema will perform on the second day alongside international stars Jorja Smith, Miguel, and Fiji. Meanwhile, Asake and Omah Lay are slated to close the festival with a set alongside American rapper Busta Rhymes.
Other Nigerian acts scheduled to perform include Tiwa Savage, Victony, Ruger, BNXN, Sarz, Seyi Vibez, Shallipopi, and the band Compozers. The festival will also feature a strong presence of fellow African artists, such as Black Sherif, King Promise, DBN Gogo, Major League DJz, Young Stunna and Uncle Waffles.
This diverse line-up reflects Afrobeats’ growing global influence, underscored by its recent Grammy recognition with the introduction of the Best African Music Performance category. The Promise Land Festival promises a vibrant celebration of both Afrobeats and international music.
